My daughter Shannon has been at New Gateways for the last five years. Up till then she had been at Wing Lake for over 20 years. Looking to find a safe and loving environment for our beautiful, happy daughter that she could continue to thrive in was an extremely difficult search and decision. We knew, after walking into New Gateways, that this was the place for her. We had toured numerous other programs, and this is the only one that we felt we could trust to keep our daughter safe and engaged. That feeling and our trust has not changed. New Gateways was established in 1992 by a small group of dedicated parents. They created our program with conviction and a purpose to provide individual stimulation, community interaction and a nurturing environment for their adult children with special needs. Director Lynn Maginity has been a long-time friend of New Gateways and the parent group. Lynn has blessed this program with her leadership, professionalism and love for our clients. Her tireless work and dedication continue to serve as an asset to all. Today New Gateways continues to fulfill the need for essential program support with diligent participation and love.
